This year – Michael Sterl, Aric Applefield, Jeff Sexton and Scott Davidson showed their philanthropic side once more and helped ADVODA and other partners fill a military truck with toys for the Toys for Tots campaign. This year, through donations from customers and partners, ADVODA gave six teams of participants $700 per team to spend on toys for the campaign. Using discount cards and coupons, team members competed to get the most out of their spending. One team even had a Target employee on their team – giving them a 10% discount at Target!

“We have been supporting the Toys for Tots program in Colorado for seven years,” said Ron Dunworth, Managing Partner of ADVODA. “Thanks to the SimpleSignal team and their generous contribution, we were able to fill the back of a very large military truck with toys and games for the children of Colorado.”

Some team members chipped in at the last minute to get even more toys. The pizza delivery employee that brought food to the team members even donated $17 for the purchase of toys. At the end of the evening, members of the Marine Corps and ADVODA Toys for Tots partners helped load up the back of the truck with over $5,000 worth of gifts.

Way to go, SimpleSignal and ADVODA!

SimpleScribe service built on GotVoice technology; available to channel partners as a white label solution

Dana Point, CA, September 16, 2008 – SimpleSignal Inc., a leader in hosted telephone systems for businesses, announces a new voicemail-to-text service called SimpleScribe that allows small and medium businesses (SMBs) to more easily manage their voicemail messages by reading them. Built on GotVoice technology, a white label version of the SimpleScribe voicemail-to-text service is immediately available for channel partners.

“Let’s be honest: Voicemail sucks. It’s just faster to read your voicemails,” said Dave Gilbert, president of SimpleSignal. “SimpleScribe — combined with the single number that rings multiple phones capabilities of our hosted VoIP solution — is ideal for fast companies and mobile workers who want to avoid the time sinkhole of listening to long messages and having to jot down notes.”

The new SimpleScribe service converts voice messages into text and delivers them via email. SMBs can quickly review their voicemail at a glance, saving time from having to listen to lengthy voice messages. The service also sends voicemails to a user’s email inbox as MP3 or WAV file attachments.

SimpleScribe scales to thousands of users and requires no hardware upgrades or resource commitment from IT departments. SimpleScribe allows users to:

* Receive voicemail as text and digital audio in their email inbox
* Forward messages to coworkers via email
* Archive all voicemail text and audio files for easy retrieval
* Use the service for both mobile and landline phones

SimpleSignal partnered with GotVoice to create SimpleScribe. GotVoice’s voicemail-to-text technology works with nearly all major mobile and home phone carriers. “Partnering with SimpleSignal exposes our technology to people who can benefit from it the most — small and medium businesses,” said GotVoice CEO Curt Blake. “SimpleScribe will free SMBs from the voicemail blackhole so they can focus on growing their businesses.”

Channel partners interested in providing the SimpleScribe voicemail-to-text service should call (866) 434-4404.
Dana Point, CA, September 08, 2008 – Internet marketing firm LeadClick Media Inc. announced today that it has upgraded its customer service by selecting SimpleSignal to provide a solution that integrates LeadClick Media’s hosted phone system with its Salesforce CRM application. SimpleSignal Inc., a leader in hosted telephone systems for businesses, is providing LeadClick Media with both its hosted VoIP phone service and its SimpleSignal for Salesforce integrated solution.

SimpleSignal for Salesforce brings SimpleSignal’s advanced VoIP technology to the industry-leading Salesforce CRM application suite. With SimpleSignal for Salesforce, LeadClick Media can automatically capture and manage detailed logs of all calls from within Salesforce CRM to track interactions with customers. The integrated solution automatically opens a caller’s contact record in Salesforce when LeadClick Media receives an incoming call. LeadClick Media employees can answer calls, place callers on hold and transfer calls—all from within Salesforce.

“Our business is Internet marketing and web-based lead generation; for us, relationships really matter,” said Michael Miller, sales director for LeadClick Media, located in San Francisco. “We saw the value of integrating our calling features with our Salesforce CRM application for improved customer service some time ago, but only SimpleSignal was able to deliver this solution for us. Having a customer’s contact info appear on the computer screen when the customer calls us increases our efficiency and allows us to immediately focus on addressing the customer’s needs.”

Using advanced VoIP functionality such as Simultaneous Ring and Remote Office, SimpleSignal for Salesforce allows SMBs to access their information in Salesforce CRM and calling features from any location — even from home offices or via mobile devices.

“SimpleSignal for Salesforce offers customers an excellent CRM and IP Voice communication solution delivered completely as a service,” said Clarence So, Chief Marketing Officer, salesforce.com “LeadClick Media is an excellent example of a company using SaaS applications like Salesforce and SimpleSignal to run their business in the cloud.”

SimpleSignal for Salesforce is the latest innovation from SimpleSignal, which delivers cloud computing-based telephony services that integrate with other crucial business applications to thousands of SMBs.

“We applaud LeadClick Media for wanting to deliver the best customer experience possible by choosing our innovative business communication solution that extends the value of Salesforce CRM,” said Dave Gilbert, president of SimpleSignal. “Our goal is to provide hosted VoIP solutions that seamlessly integrate with leading Web 2.0 business applications in the cloud, so SMBs don’t have to worry about maintaining on-premise servers, equipment and software.

SimpleSignal announces general availability of ‘SimplyMobile,’ a Hosted Unified Communications solution

Dana Point, CA, July 31, 2008 – Today, SimpleSignal, Inc., a leader in hosted business telephone systems announces the general availability of an innovative Unified Communications solution combining feature-rich hosted PBX with hosted Microsoft Exchange 2007 delivering a voice-enabled messaging solution for SMBs. The integrated solution, called SimplyMobile, delivers a new paradigm in business voice communications by enabling users to listen to their emails and manage calendar items in Microsoft Outlook using voice commands from any telephone, including mobile devices.

With SimplyMobile, email and voice services are hosted, allowing end-users to focus on managing their business, rather than managing their communications infrastructure. In addition to voice and email features available in high-end systems, this unique solution translates emails from text to speech and allows users to call Outlook contacts via voice commands on a mobile phone. Users can even verbally change the time of a meeting in their calendar and Exchange will send an email notification of the change to the meeting participants.

“Today’s worker is mobile and needs one solution to manage their voicemail, email and calendar from any location at anytime,” said Dave Gilbert, president of SimpleSignal. “The convenience of having emails read while on the move and using voice commands to call contacts and manage calendars makes it incredibly easy for users to communicate, collaborate, and share information.”

SimpleSignal teamed with Chinook Hosting, a leading hosted solutions company, to provide the hosted Exchange services for SimplyMobile. “Hosted Unified Communications represents a fundamental shift in the way business people communicate,” said Tim Ritchie, vice president of sales for Chinook Hosting. “The integration of voice and business communication applications will lead to dramatically increased productivity by automating call tracking and response while dramatically increasing first attempt contacts.”

SimplyMobile is available through SimpleSignal starting at $59.95 per user per month, including Hosted Exchange 2007 with 2 gigabyte of storage and an unlimited North American calling plan. Value-added resellers should go to www.simplesignal.com/partners.php.
